Caregiving for an elderly parent is not always ideal, but ultimately we make the sacrifice for them as they made sacrifices in raising us.
Caregiving for an elderly parent is not always ideal, but ultimately we make the sacrifice for them as they made sacrifices in raising us. Mrs. C is elderly and was facing abdominal pain. As a Caregiver, you may have to care for a Care Recipient when they are hospitalized. Take these steps to prepare for such an instance:
1) Establish a relationship with the nurses; see to it that you are informed with your Care Recipient’s treatment
2) Communicate with the doctor to learn about the Care Recipient’s condition and
3) show compassion for the Care Recipient; put their mind at ease during this trying time. We’ll take a more in-depth look into Mrs. C’s case and story in the coming month.
