Certified Nursing Assistants or Home Health Aides assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants are trained and certified caregivers who provide assistance to clients in their home with activities of daily living (ADLs). Caregivers monitor the client’s condition and provide “eyes in the field” feedback to case managers, physicians and other authorized parties, to increase awareness of progress and to ensure optimal wellness and positive outcomes.
Clients are given the option to personally interview HHAs/CNAs prior to assignment to ensure the best fit is achieved. Nurse practitioners conduct HHA/CNA supervisory home visits every 14 days for Medicare clientele, and at least every 60 days for non-Medicare clientele or as otherwise needed or requested. All of our HHAs/CNAs carry professional liability insurance and are screened and orientated prior to and on a periodic basis after being activated. Ongoing training and in-services are provided to caregivers to keep skills up-to-date with best practices. Rest assured that clients will receive the necessary hands-on care needed to maintain a safe, independent and enjoyable lifestyle in the comfort of their home.
